Folly Diary - 2010

August 2010 Magicians climb the tower

Friends of the Folly are a local group who support the Folly Trust, and active in this group is well known comedy magician and Max Milller impersonator Peter Wentworth.

On a glorious August morning he led a group of fellow magicians on a private tour of this unique site. And not a pack of cards or a sponge ball was in sight!  It was like something out of an Enid Blyton Famous Five novel! Enjoying the stunning views from the top of the folly are magicians Jack Stephens, Peter Wentworth, Ray Del Nevo and Peter Stedman. Missing from the group is fellow magician John Simonett – he of course was taking the photograph!

Reported by Jack Stephens.
