Faringdon Folly Tower Trust (284795) is a registered charity. Details of the trustees and financial details can be found on the Charity Commission website The main support provided by the friends is in providing stewards for tower open days between April and October each year. We ask volunteers to do at least one 2 hour duty each season. It is a pleasant way to spend time in the tower, chatting to visitors and enjoying the views. Some Friends are resource for the ongoing maintenance and management of the tower and woodland. The Friends of Faringdon Folly is chaired by Eddie Williams Friends of the Folly: · Ensure the tower and the woodland are maintained and developed · Raise awareness in the local community and beyond · Gather and display historical information about the Folly ....and keep the spirit of Lord Berners alive. Innovation and creativity, whimsical humour and frivolous silliness are therefore inevitably an important part of our custodial duties.
