Frequently asked questionsQ1: What is the maximum number of people allowed in the Tower?
A: The maximum capacity for the Folly Tower is 25. However, for seating at tables this is reduced to 12 - or 16 if you don’t mind being a bit crowded. Please note that we have only 12 chairs. Visitors are allowed sit on the window sills or bring additional seats. Q2. What facilities are available if we decide to self-cater? A: We do not have any catering facilities which leaves you with the flexibility of self catering, bringing a picnic or take-a-way, or using external caterers. In the past visitors have used:
Q3: Can we hold a barbecue in the woodland? A: Definitely no barbecues or fires or naked flames in the woodland. Q4: How late can we stay in the Tower? A: Your event must end no later than midnight. Q5: Are there any toilet facilities in theTower or nearby? A: There are no toilet facilities in the tower or woodland. There are public toilets in the centre of Faringdon, or you may be able to make arrangements to use the facilities in Sudbury House Hotel. |
